GFRP Rebar

Glass fiber reinforced polymer bars – a corrosion-free alternative to steel reinforcement.

GFRP rebar cage being assembled
Overview

Reinforcement that never rusts.

GFRP (glass fiber reinforced polymer) rebar takes a different approach to reinforcing concrete. High-strength glass fibers are locked into a polymer resin, giving a bar with an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio that solves many of the long-standing problems of steel.

Above all, it is built for corrosive conditions. Because GFRP simply cannot rust, it is the natural choice for coastal structures, chemical plants and any site exposed to salt, moisture or aggressive chemicals – extending service life and cutting maintenance costs for decades.
